As any good rigor knows an upline break can be a catastrophe! Well I love the feeling of jute for body lines, when it comes to uplines I trust hemphex. It has three to four times the breaking strength of jute, but retains the look of jute, so your ties look great! This is the only room I use for up lines for any suspension tie!
I have a tendency to be very picky, I've been in the BDSM community for 40 years, and have always been a careful rigger, I'm also an engineer so I pay attention to details in the materials that I use! Those are the reasons that I recommend this product!

As promised, there’s a bit over 300’ in this bundle. I made 6x30’, 6x15’, and one more hank a bit over 30’, perhaps 40.
I finished the ends with triple wall knots, which cinch down nicely in the standard “loose” lay. I’m used to tying in hemp with whipped ends but the small amount of extra bulk from the wall knots isn’t even noticeable as I’m pulling tails.
The dye going all the way through is really lovely, and I haven’t seen this from any other rope makers. The color is more vibrant than I’ve come to expect from dyed natural fibers.
Finally, the price point is fantastic for anyone who has some time to finish your own ends, and will certainly be handy if you need custom lengths. I’d definitely recommend this rope to others!
