Hi from Giotto,
I’m self-employed and work from home. I can accommodate any time of day or day of the week that is convenient for you and your partner.
The lessons will be held at my dojo/home in Katy, Texas. They can also be online using Zoom, Skype etc. There is a travel fee if you want lessons at another location.
First contact me to arrange a date and time. You can text me at 512-923-8133 for quicker responses.
The day before your first class, you will need to purchase the class online. I recommend at least four hours a month (two hours every two weeks) to make the best progress. More if you want.
After that, just attend with your partner and practice between lessons.
You can add one or two other couples to the lessons for a small fee.
You should expect that your first lesson will take about 30 minutes more than what you signed up for. This gives time for the ubiquitous safety lecture and still have time for the full lesson.
If you’ve signed up for a series of lessons, your card will be charged on the same day every month. You should be able to manage your subscription online. Contact me if you have any problems. A minimum of three monthly classes will be charged to qualify for the discounted hourly price.
If you are not able to attend at your scheduled time, you must give 24 hours notice or you will still be charged for the time. I’m happy to reschedule if you let me know in advance. Missed hours within a given month must be scheduled by the end of the following month or will be forfeited.
You do not need to have your own rope for the lessons. I have rope to lend. You are free to bring your own rope if you wish. If I feel it is not the appropriate rope for what we are doing that day, I will loan you the correct rope. There will be ropes for purchase at my place. If there is something particular you are interested in buying, let me know when you schedule your lesson and I’ll try to have it on-hand.
For those who will be tied, wear tight fitting natural fiber clothes. Cotton leggings and sports bra work well. Bare skin is fine as well if that’s within your comfort zone. Your comfort, physical and emotional, are of utmost importance. Please don’t wear jeans.
Those that are tying should wear comfortable clothes. Lessons are very informal.

During a typical class, I will discuss the goals for that class with the students. I will demonstrate the tie or technique to be covered during that class. The students will do the skill along with me. I will then supervise the student doing it on their own.
