**Learn the art of Shibari under the supervision of Giotto, an internationally trained shibari artist who has been teaching rope art for over 12 years. He is known for his beautiful suspension ties, as well as his emphasis on safety and connection.
In this class, you will learn the basics of shibari, including:
* How to tie safely and effectively
* How to create beautiful and intricate ties
* How to use shibari for connection and intimacy
* Class will be divided by skill level when appropriate
No experience is necessary. All levels are welcome. Rope can be provided.
No RSVP necessary. Must be over 18 years of age. You must be with a trusted partner to attend class.
What to bring:
Appropriate rope for Shibari, if you have it. Rope can be provided. Rope will also be for sale. If you’re not sure if it’s the right kind of rope, bring it anyway and Giotto will advise you.

How to dress:
If you’re doing the tying the best thing to wear to a shibari class is comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that you can move around in easily. Avoid wearing anything that is too tight, restrictive, or has metal or sharp objects on it.
If you are being tied then yoga pants or leggings with a t-shirt or tank top, underwire bra if appropriate and underwear. Bare skin is also a good choice depending on your comfort level. Avoid jeans or any type of pocketed pants or shorts. Dresses or skirts do not work well for most ties.
